This instructable explains how to make a studdy buddy

The function of this study buddy is to help teens between the ages of 14 and 18 to learn how to plan and study. The aim is that the robot could learn with the students. The cover is painted in a blackboard paint so the user can write on it.

In these pictures you can find all the supplies and components you will need. This version has the bee cover so it is called a buddy for bizzy beez. I also made a video of this project to make the steps extra clear.

components:

- the cover

- 2 leds, 2 green wires, 2 black wires and 2 resistors

- one base, 4 click pieces and 2 wings

- 4 rotors with wires and 6 long wires

- 4 servos, 4 small screws and 8 big screws

extra materials you need are:

- a pair of scissors

- wire cutters

- a glass

- a pen

- a screwdriver

- tape

To complete this step you will need the following parts:

- the assembly from the previous step

- 4 servos

- 8 big screws

- screwdriver

what you need to do:

1) place the servo in the hole

2) make sure the white axis is oriented to the side of the base

3) screw 2 of the screws in the appropiate holes on either side of the servo

4) repeat 4 times

To complete this step you will need the following parts:

- the assembly from the previous step

- 6 long wires

- wire cutters

what you need to do:

1) locate paired 12 holes in the base

2) loop the wire through the first hole from the bottom to the top ( the top side is the side with the servos clicked to)

make sure you leave a part of the wire hanging, the chosen length will be the length of the legs

3) loop the wire again through the same hole this results in making a loop

close the loop by pressing it down with the wire cutters

4) pull the wire through the second hole from the top to the bottom

5) loop the wire again through the same hole this results in making a loop

close the loop by pressing it down with the wire cutters

6) twist the 2 ends at the bottom together

7) repeat 6 times

8) cut all the legs off at the same length
