Super Easy Origami Paper Ninja Star!

IMG_9053.jpg

Try this easy origami paper ninja star at home! Even people with little origami experience can do this at ease! This'll only take about 5-10 minutes and everyone can do this. There's only two basic materials in everyone's home: a square piece of paper and scissors. Try this at a party, with your kids, at a social event, or even just for fun! Since this is made out of paper, it won't hurt a lot if it is actually thrown at someone so it's fun for everyone. Please comment if you have any questions. I would love feedback! Thank you.

What You Need

Fold your square paper in half (hot dog style) and then unfold it. Cut the folded line.

Fold one side again (hot dog style), and cut along the crease. You'll have two thin sheets. Put the other half sheet away.

Now, fold your two thin strips of paper hamburger style, then un-fold. You need the creases. Then take your upper-half of the paper and fold it along the crease so you get the picture above.

Now fold the bottom half (like you did with the upper half), but in opposite directions (like the picture above). Then just flip your papers upside down.

Now just fold the top part of the square in half (as shown in the pictures above).

Then do the same with the bottom half.

Then flip one of the papers over. Your two papers should look like the last picture above.

Almost Done!

Now, on the left paper, fold in the top and bottom edges so the left paper is a rhombus. Then flip the right sheet of paper over, and position it exactly as shown in the picture above.

Just One More Step!
