Happy Time Fun Shocker

In this instructable, i will show you how to make a fun little shocker thing that will assure you have a fun time when your bored and have a friend watching t.v.
Anyway time for disclaimer if you harm yourself or others with this (i.e. shock someone with a pacemaker or shock a pet bug or something) then do not come crying to me because if i bought a gun and accidentally shot someone i would not go and blame the person i bought it from. by making this you are accepting the fact that mistakes happen and that you may not in any way blame me for them. ok boring disclaimer aside, lets get to work.

You will need
1. A utility lighter
2. Wire
3. Duct tape
4. Electrical tape
5. Scissors
6. Empty scotch tape rolls x2

Optional:this is optional but it makes this proect a WHOLE LOT EASIER:
a good multi tool

We want to get the piezo generator thats in the first picture.
First, take off the black plastic ring between the metal material and the plastic. (just grab it with pliers or something and take it off.)

Next, take a piece of thin metal or knife or scissors blades and put it in between the two pieces of plastic.
Work your way around the lighter, and pry off one of the plastic parts.

Inside, there will be the lighter, and the red wire running inside of the black plastic tube.
Simply pull it out and take out the shocker.
Now you are done with this step :)

If you would like to know, the shocker works by hitting a piece of quartz with a spring-loaded hammer. when you pass electrical current through quartz, it distorts, and when you distort it, it releases electrical current which is what you feel when shocked.

We aren't actually done with the shocker just yet.
Take a length of wire and split the ends with scissors (pics 1-3)
Now, take one of the wires and strip both ends.
Now, take one of the ends nd wrap it around the metal cylinder on the shocker, and electrical tape it.
Look on the sides of the shocker. You'll see little pegsinside of the black plastic housing (pic 13)
Cover them with electrical tape, or they will shock you. (pic 11)
(pic 12)if you want, you can tape the ends of that pink tube around the red and yellow wire to keep it in place.

Now, the basic housing is two empty scotch tape rolls, but you can use almost anything. I will show you two of them, the scotch tape housing and the Bic Roundstic pen housing.
First, tape two empty scotch tape rolls together. Make a hole in the side, put in the shocker. Wad up some duct tape and put it behind the shocker, because the scotch tape rolls are too wide. Now, make some more duct tape wads and fill the housing. Duct tape or electrical tape all around the housing, You see my duct tape one, i made one with a layer of duct tape and a layer of electrical tape to look cool.
Bic pen method: Take a bic roundstic pen or something similar and take out all the insides, and the end cap. Put the metal cylinder and the wire taped to it inside the pen tube and pull it through, and the other wire will be wound around the outside. Tape both of them to the top, tape the shocker to the pen, and cover everything in electrical tape.

Sneak up on your friend, stick the wires on or above his/her skin, and press the button. Shock! not really a real taser, but not really a toy either. Have fun shocking things(i accidentally shock my Chihuahua through my brother, yeah it jumps from person to person)

fun game: gather all the friends you can into a line, holding hands. grab onto the first person, and shock yourself. see how many people feel the shock.
