Make a high quality duct tape wallet in less than 10 minutes!

This is my second design for my duct tape wallet series.

There all able to be made in under 10 minutes.

These are quite easy to make but still in great high quality.

And your not limited to a certain design or color.

It's fully customizable!

The last step has an idea on how to make a change pocket for the middle.

Step 1: Preperation

Before you can start you first have to have some simple household objects.

#1. Any Color Duct Tape.

#2. 5 Larger Size Index Cards

#3. Scissors

Step 2: Taping the Index Cards

First you need to get three index cards together and start adding duct tape around and around like in the pictures below.

Remember to look at the pictures or you wallet may not come out quite like mine.

All you do is wrap it around the top, then the bottom, and then the middle, and then flip it over and do the same.

Now that you've done this one card, you have to do two more.

This is a technique I have been working on for quite a while and this is the best way.

It looks a lot neater!

Step 3: Taping the Cards Together

This is one of the most important steps of the project, so MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES!

First your going to sit two cards one centimeter apart and tape over the index cards in the middle, then on top, and then on bottom.

I don't have pictures of the top and bottom parts but you can tell how to do it.

Then, flip it over and do the same thing.

Make sure it can fold open and closed a few times and then go on.

Then you're going to add the third index card on either side of the two pockets and tape just like the last.

Then check if you can fold it easy open and closed on all joints.

if it doesn't keep folding it, and unfolding it until it opens and closes easily.

Step 4: Adding the Two Pockets

Of course you're gonna need pockets right?

Now you need to add the pockets on the right side and on the left side.

This is a bit tricky but you'll get it.

First you get the remaining two index cards and tape them up completely just like the when you started.

Then, next you tape it in the middle and then on the bottom.

Look at the pictures for reference!

Then add a very small piece of duct tape to the right top corner to touch it up.

And there's your first pocket.

For the second pocket, you do the exact same thing on the left side.

The pictures below and the instructions above, will help you with the second pocket but you probably already got the idea by now.

Step 5: the Optional Pocket

DSCI0083.JPG
There is an optional pocket to add in the middle of the wallet.

I did it on another wallet just for fun and it turned out to be great for change.

I just have a picture, so I hope you can figure it out.

Check out my other stuff.

I will be adding lots of other neat crafts and projects to do.

So keep checking back.

Bye!
