Ever thought of having a cute little simple candle holder to light your candle rather than sticking it around every corner and letting wax flow over your favorite table? I could make something like that using only a few simple things.

What you'll be needing are;

  1. 3 small glasses (any amount you wish to have)
  2. Small tea candles
  3. Blue color glitter dust
  4. Glue
  5. Masking tape

Applying Dust

First, stick the masking tape on the glass surface to mark the margin where you want to stop applying dust. (image 1)

Next, apply a thick layer of glue to the needed area (image 2)

Then, put glitter dust on that surface in a thick layer (image 3) and tap the upper part of the glass gently with your finger to let the unwanted dust to drop (image 4)

Finally, peel off the masking tape gently, without harming the dust applied area (image 5)

You can sharpen the edges smoothly if the edge is not sharp.

Decorating the Candle Holder

Since this looks a little void, I used a little piece of silver color ribbon to wrap around the glass over the edge of the dust layer and on the joint, I have placed a little silver color butterfly and stones on its tummy...

I have made a stand to keep all the glasses in different levels.and decorated it with silver and blue dust, and some silver butterflies used to decorate the glasses. Finally, glue the glasses to the base, and place the tea candles inside each glass.

Your candle holder is ready now :D

You can decorate this any way you love. This is what I made. Hope to see what you made too...

Enjoy!!!
