Sweet 'n' Tangy Wings
I love Buffalo Wild Wings, but I don't live near one and my Dad and my brother and I love wings, so I made some!
Ingredients
You need quite a lot of stuff:
Equipment:
- 3lb. Chicken wingettes
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1.5 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tbs worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbs dijon mustard
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Sesame seeds
Equipment:
- Deep fryer
- Tongs
- Crock Pot
Prepare the Wings
This step is easy. Line the wings up on a pan, and sprinkle salt and pepper on them. Remember to wash your hands often to avoid getting salmonella.
Fry!
Put the wings in the basket, but do not layer them. I was able to get 7 in the basket. Fry at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes. Make sure they are all the way done.
Make the Sauce.
While you wait for the wings to cook:
In the crock pot, combine ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Stir until mixed well.

Toss the Wings in the Sauce.
Now take the wings and put them in the sauce in the crock pot. Stir it up so that all the wings have sauce on them. Put on low and cook for 3.5-4 hours, stirring every hour.
Sesame Seeds
Remove the wings from the crock pot and sprinkle them with sesame seeds.
Enjoy!
Now go put on a bib and eat eat eat!!!
