I created an information site with the makey makey to inform others about the different basic swimming strokes. This would be the best for people who don't already swim and wants to learn how to start of with the 4 styles of swimming. This would also be good for people trying to see what they need to do while learning the different strokes. The purpose of this makey makey is to hopefully try to teach people how to swim and do their stroke of swimming perfectly.

How to Build and Code This Project

Building

Attach the four different types of swimming paper onto the cardboard board with tape

- Use tape to combine both the quarter and the foil and attach it onto the edge of the cardboard

- Attach the Foil With the Quarters Onto the Board

Coding

- Create 4 different sprites with each one resembling one of the four strokes

- Create 4 arrows that will later correspond to the correct stroke on the project board

- Code each swimming sprite so when the arrow is pressed, it will play a recording of a written description of the swimming stroke on the screen

-For the recording, you can use scratch's built in microphone blocks.

- Optional: Add a background when switching to different swimming strokes

Post project build

- Take out alligator clips and attach to each coin and a ground place on the board that corresponds to a swimming stroke

- Connect the makey makey cord to the makey makey board itself

- Connect the makey makey cord to the computer's usb port

- Once everything is connected, press the green arrow on the scratch project

- Press the coins on the board and make sure there is a voice recording and a written description occurring

After everything is troubleshooted and works well, you have successfully made this project!
