This is something I devised while employed as a CNC operator (as a co-worker put it, "just a monkey pushing a yellow button" :/ ). I cut out a piece of plexiglass (although polycarbonate/lexan would work much better), sanded it into shape, and hot glued it in. The screen was sanded to fit out of a blank that measured roughly 2-3/4" by 3-3/4"

It was made with with a bandsaw and a die grinder, If I had a laser cutter I could just go find proper dimensions online and cut one out with a laser cutter an have a far cleaner piece.
