TYE-DYE Made With Sharpies

Tye-dye is often messy, but neat to look at. Why should you have to deal with the mess when you can do with a few cool sharpies, some rubbing alcohol, and of course something to tie-dye. It takes about 15 minutes to make, and another 15 or so to dry.

For this craft you will need at least two sharpies (they come in a LOT of cool colors now), a lot of rubber bands, a couple of tennis balls or a few ping-pong balls, a spray bottle set on fine mist with alcohol, and of course something to tie-die, preferably bandanna or a T-shirt.

Take the bandanna, tennis\ping-pong balls, and rubber bands. By the way to have one ring use one tennis ball, if you want two rings use two tennis balls and so on. If you are planning to use more than three balls, I would recommend ping-bong balls. Put the ball(s) in the middle if you are using one, or put the balls at least two inches apart. Then grab the fabric around the ball and tie the rubber band really close to the ball, if there is enough room put more rubber bands every two inches or so. If there are more balls do the same thing to them.

Choose a sharpie. Color a/the ball. Then color the piece of fabric on the opposite side of the rubber band with a different color. And so on. Make sure when you color you don't have the same color on the opposite sides of the rubber band.

Take the mister with the rubbing alcohol in it. Hold it by the ends of the fabric. Spray the bandanna. Make sure you spray the whole thing. If you don't it won't look lie tie-dye. Finally, let it dry naturally, until completely dry.
