Cutting the Mattress to the Table's Dimensions

IMG_2697.jpg

The mattress can be bought in a variety of sizes.

The size of the table we worked with is 90/70 cm, so we cut the mattress according to these dimensions.

Making Holes for Magnets

The iPad stand will be fixed to our table with magnets.

The holes for the magnets should be planned according to the distance where we want to place the iPad for our user.

The accepted range is 25-30 cm from the edge of the table towards the middle of the table.

After that, we will stick the magnets in the holes we created.

After we cut the mattress to the size of the table, a cover should be fitted to it.

We will cut the fabric according to the cut we planned and sew it accordingly.

Then we will sew the strips in the appropriate places according to the cut.

We need to attach the buckles to the straps to fix the mattress on the table.

After our cut is ready and the straps are in place, we will connect the buckles to them - one for each side (right and left) and thus we will tie between all four straps.

Strips that are facing each other will be joined together.

Inserting the Mattress Into the Cloth

After our mattress is ready according to the dimensions and with the magnets, we will insert it into the fabric cut we created.

At this stage we will use the wooden board we bought.

We will cut one piece according to the dimensions - 20/28 cm for the upper part of the stand for the iPad,

and cut another piece measuring 19.5 / 27 cm for the lower part, to which we will attach the metal surface.
