Teach "TELL a STORY" Through Tinkercad and Teach the Basic Skills in Tinkercad
I'm an educator and In this project, you're going to learn HOW TO CREATE A "RIDDLE STORY" GAME ON TINKERCAD IN A FUN AND ENJOYABLE WAY.
"RIDDLE STORY" GAME'S GOALS:
1. Play a game and enjoy while learning
2.Learn to navigate the workplane on Tinkercad
3. Improve creativity and imagination
4.Improve reading and writing skills
5. Experience to tell a story
6.Learn the basic tools on Tinkercad
INSTRUCTION FOR "RIDDLE STORY GAME":
The student will have to look for some clues such as letters that when we combined together, it will form a word code. Those clues (letters) are hidden in the 3D models on Tinkercad workplane.
Supplies
- User in tinkercad
Get Inspired to Create a Riddle Story From the Tinkercad's Library Models.
Go to the Creatures and Characters Library tab or Structures and Scenery tab to choose from varieties of models to get ideas for your story.
Write a Story With the Notes Tool in Tinkercad
Click and drag Notes tab to your workplane and write your story.
Be reminded that you will have to add numbers of notes and add numbers to it to know the order of the story because the characters are limited.
DRAG THE APPROPRIATE MODELS TO WORKPLANE AND DESIGN THE STORY Plot/scenario
In this part, you will have to imagine how your story looks like.
For example, if you will write a story about animals, so you will need to drag some animals and create a zoo environment.
CHOOSING a WORD CODE
You will have to choose a word code and you're going to hide the code's letters anywhere in your story models, according to the order of the story.
Hiding the Code's Letters Word Anywhere on the Workplane
For example: If you choose the word code "FISH", you need to hide the code's letters, F, I, S, and H according to the story. If in the beginning of your story, you're talking about a bear, hide the first letter "F" there.
It depends on the order of the story.
Same thing will be done for the rest of the letter codes.
Making the "riddle Story Model" Public
In order for the riddle story to be visible to other students, you need to set the model's privacy settings in PUBLIC.
Sending the "riddle Story Model" to Studens
In order to share your riddle story, you just have to send the link of the model to other students.
Competition Between the Students
Carrying out a competition between the students who solves the riddle first.
Student Create Their Own "riddle Story"
1.Show the students this instruction and talk with them about the structure of the story.
2.Ask the students to create their own "riddle story" in Tinkercad with the help of this instruction and to share it to others students.
