The Accessible Door
Why do we need this?
Believe it or not the world is extremely inaccessible for people with disabilities so I decided to design a door that can be opened by anyone in any condition, The accessible door.
What I Had to Do
I had to make a door that only required something that everyone that would ever need to go thru a door could do. What can anyone do or what dose anyone have to do?
The Idea
Everyone has to tuch the floor. everyone has to go over the floor. wether you are in a wheelchair or if your just walking. a door were you just walk and push.
The Basic Design
The door opens when you step on a button in the floor. the yellow material in the image is pulled down the yellow block slides out opening the door ready so that you can just enter by pushing the easy to push door.
