For just about every outdoor project I make I use water activated polyurethane adhesive. All you have to do is wet a surface and apply the glue or spray foam filler. It bonds really well with 3D printed PLA & PETG Plastic, Wood, Styrofoam & PVC.

More Than Just Glue

Here are some images of the glue doing its thing. The gap filling properties and foaming action work great on just about everything. It will also add an organic texture to smooth surfaces for that extra bit of detail. I have even glued concrete roof tiles that were broken from a hurricane back together. The tiles were still there 10 years later until we reroofed the house.

Sticky and Shapely

Both Gorilla Glue and Great Stuff are water based polyurethane adhesives. They both foam up and fill gaps and stick to almost everything. I very seldom try to hide the glue unless I am gluing styrofoam sheets together like on the wolf. After drying they can be carved or sanded to the desired shape. They are both pretty much water proof (a necessity for outdoor props) and the organic texture adds that little bit of realism to my projects.
