The Kline/Fogleman #2 Airfoil Paper Airplane

This is a great paper airplane design. It flies very well.

First print off the plan on ordinary copy paper

Step 1

Print off the template from here

and get a pair of scissors and some clear tape.

Fold from the bottom up to and even with the top, and give it a good crease.

Step 3

Cut out the three sections with an "X", and recycle the scraps.

Unfold.

Fold the left side over to and even with the right side and give it a good crease.

Unfold.

Fold the left side to the center crease you just created, and flatten it out with a good crease.

Fold the bottom left corner up to and even with the lengthwise center crease, and flatten.

Fold the upper left corner down to and even with the center lengthwise crease and flatten.

Fold the bottom half up to and even with the upper half.

Fold the top wing down to the 2nd dotted line and crease.

Fold the wing up along the other dotted line.

Flip the plane over.

Again, fold the top wing down to the second dotted line, and crease

Fold the wing up along the other dotted line.

Pop the tail up in the rear (left side of the plane in this photo).

Tape the nose of the plane, including the first angled part of the wings.
