Crawling is difficult, not only for humans but also for our Bugs. While crawling making bugs moving straight is they key. This instruction do not provide any readymade solution to make it happen except few guidelines

Your "imagination" and "hit and trials" are the way to go about this.

  1. Keep the tail long and if possible with a two bead wheels or a big roller ( see the pic for reference)
  2. Do not target for time first achieve the straight moving bug and then try to increase speed.
  3. keeping legs cushioned and 180 degree phase angle may be a great help
  4. keep balancing the bug if it moves in one particular direction.
  5. if bug moves unpredictable, something is loose. time to inspect.

Obstacles

You need to pass three obstacles

  1. 5mm
  2. 10mm
  3. 20mm

To Have a great off-road vehicle -

Hint - 3D printed tyre for sprinting if used in right way can do the magic for you.
