The Phoney Foldy Holdey Upy Thingy
The Phoney Foldy Holdy Upy Thingy is a phone stand that can be attached and taken off of a phone case. It can be folded into a triangular phone stand to prop up your phone or flattened and attached to a smooth surface or wall.
Mateirials
- 10" by 1/2" of plywood
- 1-4 zip ties
- phone case
- saw [preferably electric]
- sticky plunger thingys found with Christmas decorations
- hot glue gun
- Toy circular magnets
- Scissors
Cut Plywood
Cut two pieces of plywood so that the plywood is sticking above the phone case about one inch. then cut the plywood so that one part of the plywood is 1/2 an inch larger than the other. Our phone stand was comprised of two pieces one was 1 1/2 by 1/2 inches the other 2 by 1/2 inches
Use Zip Ties
Cut two zip ties so that they are 1 1/2 inches long each. Then attach them with hot glue to the two pieces of plywood so that they are connected. Cut two more shorter pieces about an inch each and attach them to the end of the two shorter pieces of the plywood.
Attach Plunger Thingys
Attach the plunger thingys to the smaller piece of the plywood on the bottom side the bottom side being the opposite side as the zip ties connecting to the wood.
Attaching the Magnets
Attach the small toy magnets to the zip ties sticking off the end of the wood using hot glue or super glue. Next connect a small washer at the bottom middle of the phone case.
Connecting Hooks
First, take one of the hooks located on the top of the plunger thingys off and cut it in two with wire cutters. Drill two small holesin the phone case close enough so that a hook can be placed in the holes and glued functioning as a latch. Next, glue a hook to the end of the larger piece of plywood which will function as the hook.
Add Designs If You Want
You are now done and the stand will function with the simple placing of the stand on the phone case.
