The Pop Speaker
3D Printed Bluetooth Speaker
Materials:
3D Printer (minimum 10mm x10mm x10mm)
Kmart Bluetooth Speaker ($10)
Pliers
Soldering Iron
Step 1: Download the Stl Files and Print Them
Note: More support creates better forms due to complicated geometry but the print time will significantly increase.
Remove the support with pliers as shown.
Cut of random strands of hanging filament.
Step 2: Assemble the Top 3 Layers
Align the connections and press them together as shown in the images.
Step 3: Take the Kmart Bluetooth Speaker Apart
Take out the battery, circuit, and speaker driver.
Use a soldering iron to remove the components as shown.
Step 4: Attach the Speaker Driver
Push the speaker driver into layer 3's central slot as shown.
Step 5: Attach Layer 4
Attach layer 4 to layer 3 by pressing together.
Step 6: Connect the Box
Put the wire through the hole of the box.
Solder the battery and speaker driver wires as shown.
Then slot the wire and battery into the box.
NOTE: make sure the battery is on top of the circuit which will sit on the two small shelves.
Connect the box to the 4 layers and close the lid by pressing them together.
Step 7: Completion!
Just slide the switch, connect to the Bluetooth, and enjoy!
