The Reason You Should Not Put Damaged LED Lights in the Trash
Everything we throw in the trash has more or less impact on the environment. I want to share with you how I restore my broken leds. Let's protect the environment together.
Supplies
You can find old resistors in electrical appliances.
How to calculate resistance you can see here:

Prepare
- We will cut the led bar into small pieces that match the desired voltage.
- Each white led has a voltage of about 3v so I cut it into pieces with 8 leds to use with 24v
- Then I paired these 2 led bars in parallel
Start
- We will supply power to check whether the led is working properly?
- I use double-sided tape to stick the led
- I use the quick connect jack to power the led
- Next I used silicone sealant for wiring and led
- Try the led again with 24v . battery
- I drilled a hole for the connection jack
- Use glue to fix the resistor. Resistors will generate heat during use. I use the lamp cover as a heat sink
- Mount the light spreader back on. We already have 1 led light to use for many purposes such as camping, supporting filming...Thank you for reading. Good luck
