The Triangular Puzzle of the Spectacular Penguin

IMG_5722.JPG

Triangles! The shapes you learn in kinder garden. They mysterious shapes with only 3 sides where as quadrilaterals have a big family. They are 3 sided shapes and belong to the polygons.

Penguins! The cute little guy that you learn in kinder garden. They are birds who can not fly and are isolated in the arctic where as the other birds chase little kids. They are birds who cannot fly but can swim.

As they both are same I combine them into a puzzle. This is like a jigsaw put the shape is triangles. This is an easy puzzle designed for kids, idiots IQ testing and fun with the family.

This project is also free of cost!!!!

Supplies

A printer

Paper

Software to design Like Paint 3D.

Glue stick

The Puzzle Design

So this step is very very very very easy. Just go to your drawing software and just draw a rectangle with a lot of triangles together. I designed it on paint 3D. sadly It will be history on 2 November.

The Picture

The picture should fit in the frame and should be clear to see. You can just google the picture. Selecting a good picture is very important because it all depend on it.

The Puzzle (online)

Now combine them together! There are 2 ways!

  1. Put the pictures at separate layers. Some software have this option,
  2. Make the frame transparent and then paste in in front of the picture.

Printing

Now print the final design.

If your printer prints black and white, take this example. If not you can go crazy!!!

Even that if you own a printer this is all an effort of almost nothing!

Cutting and Final Result

IMG_5722.JPG

Before cutting, paste more papers to make the pieces thick or just past cardboard but, For me paper is better as the result will be much much flexible and budget saving than cardboard.

Paste 2 papers at the back with glue.

Now just cut the pieces by the edges!

And that is it. 0$ and full of patterns good for children.
