Choose a variety of green hues for your craft papers, and also gather red, yellow, and black papers for added accents.

Use black paper to trace the patterns for the feet and antennae, yellow paper for the eye bases, red paper for the head pattern, and green paper for the body base.

Trace the body parts on the shades of green paper, then carefully cut out all the traced patterns using scissors.

Affix the cutouts for the antennae onto the upper part of the head cutout, and then attach the eye bases onto the inside of the head cutout.

Finally, attach the head onto the front portion of the body base cutout.

Take hold of the cutouts for the body parts and attach them one by one onto the body base, starting with the patterns closest to the head.

Continue to attach the pattern towards the backside of the body base pattern. 

Continue attaching the cutouts for the body parts until the body base is wholly filled and looks aesthetically pleasing.

Once all the body parts have been attached, proceed to affix the cutouts for the feet along the underside of the caterpillar pattern.

Take a green sharpie and use it to fill in the eyes on the yellow eye bases. Then, use a black sharpie to draw the circular shape of the mouth. Additionally, trace, cut out, and glue the pattern for the apple in place.
