The Water Bottle Grenade PSI Experiment
This Instructable is for my Science Fair Project. I'm testing how much Baking Soda and Vinegar I need to get the best PSI, subsequently making the best explosion. Unfortunately, for this experiment, I won't be exploding any bottles. If you do want to see exploding bottles, go somewhere else. Now, to the science.
What You'll Need
Water Bottle (The Anorexic Kind) - You can get these from your friends. (Or, if you don't have any, find a recycling program)
Baking Soda - I'm hoping to get it from my FACS teacher, but obviously you can get it at any supermarket for cheapie cheapie.
Vinegar - I'm also getting this from my FACS teacher, but you can get it at any supermarket.
Kleenex - You know what I'm talking about
Gas Pressure Sensor - I'm getting this from my science teacher. You're on your own.

Rolling Up the Baking Soda
To get the baking soda in the bottle all at the same time, we have to roll it up in Kleenex. Put 6 Kleenexes out on the table and pour these amounts of baking soda on the the Kleenexes. Roll them up like in the pictures.
10g of baking soda
20g of baking soda
30g of baking soda
35g of baking soda
40g of baking soda
45g of baking soda
10g of baking soda

Outfitting the Gas Pressure Sensor
To test the PSI, we need to use a Gas Pressure Sensor. I'll call it a GPS from here on out. We're going to take a rubber stopper that fits in the water bottle hole and attach your GPS nozzle thing to it.
Get Everything Ready
Measure out your vinegar and pour it into the bottle. Get your first Kleenex ready. Get your data collector ready. Plug everything in and make sure everything works.
Collect!
Drop your Kleenex in and quickly place the rubber stopper on. The pressure will get really high, sohold it really tightly. Do all six, and you're done!
