Have you ever wanted to have a plant that fits in the palm of your hand, needs no care, and is almost free? Well then this instructable is for you. Enjoy!

What You Need

For this project you will need: a small glass vial, a small amount of soil,
a q-tip, and any small plant that fits in your vial.

Putting It All Together

First, fill the vial a small amount of the way full with dirt. Then use the q-tip to push the plant in, it should eventually take root by itself.

Finishing It Off

Mist the inside of the vial with a sprayer full of water. Then tightly seal the top, making sure you have everything you want in there, you'll never be able to remove it after you put the cap on, as it will upset the mini-ecosystem inside.

Conclusion

What you just made is called a biosphere, basically meaning that there is a functional ecosystem inside.
They can be made in any different size, for example, you could make one in an apple cider jug if you put the right plants and creatures inside. Enjoy your mini garden!
