The special stand is designed to hold an iphone 4 or 4s at a perfect height for face timing while sitting or standing.It was designed because of the hassle of always having to adjust my phone while face timing and moving it all over the place when i changed positions.

The angle is the key important feature of this stand, it is what keeps the phone at just the right point so the front facing camera can keep at eye level or close to eye level.
