Have you ever had those extremely small dice that you lose the moment you roll them down a dice tower? Well not anymore! This tutorial shows you how to make a dice tower out of an empty tic tac box for your tiniest dice.

Supplies

  • 1 Empty Tic Tac Box
  • Some 3d printer filament (with a 3d printer to print with)
  • A hobby knife
  • Some dice to try it out with

Start 3D Print

Print this file: Tic Tac Tower

Any plastic should be fine, I'd recommend a color that matches the Tic Tac sticker.

I would recommend using a raft and this file can be positioned with no supports.

Cut a Dice Exit Area

On the bottom of the Tic Tac Box, put a square hole like in the image. This will be where the dice will be deposited at. The lid will be removable later, which means that which thin side the hole is on doesn't matter.

Remove Lid of Tic Tac Box

This part requires a little work. Run your fingernail, maybe your hobby knife if you need to, along where the lid and clear container meet. Then pull on the lid until it comes off. You may need to run your sharp edge across the lid-container edge a few times before it comes off.

Finishing

Slide the printed part into the Tic Tac box so that the last ramp leads to the bottom hole and you're done! Congrats! Try it out a few times to test that it works and you're good! Happy Rolling!
