Gravit Designer
Create a grid in Gravit Designer. More specifically, create a 10x15 grid using squares with spaces in between and export it as a svg file. Mimic the image.
Laser Cutting Grid
Laser cut a slab of wood (1/8 inch plywood suggested) to mimic the design.
Laser Cutting Bottom Part
Laser cut another slab of wood (1/8 inch plywood also suggested) that is the same size as the grid. Do not put anything on this one.
Pasting
Glue the two wood pieces on top of each other. (Wood glue suggested)
Spray Painting
Spray paint the smaller wooden square that were a by-product from the laser-cutting. Paint one side red and the other side blue.
Completion
Wait for the pieces to dry and you're done.
Optional Suggestions
- Draw images on the wood
- Use this ruleset for the game specifically
- The two players choose between a big red or big blue tile.
- Both players roll the dice and move accordingly. A player can go up, down, left, and right, but they can't go diagonally.
- A player can go over an opponent’s tiles, which will turn the opponent’s tiles into the player’s tiles.
- If the player creates a square of tiles, the spots inside will be filled (like paper.io).
- If a player goes over their own tiles, they can “slide” over the tiles.
