Tinkercad Mini Dollhouse
In this project, I will be showing how you can make a mini dollhouse with some small toys and furniture you can play with! Of course, make sure to add some personal flair to this- don't copy it exactly! There's room for plenty of custom furniture and figures you can add.
Supplies
A TinkerCad account (free)
3D Printer if you want to print it out
Initial Floor
First, you should create a 150 mm x 150 mm box that is 5 mm high. This will be the floor- the foundation for your dollhouse.
Creating 3 Walls
Next, add a vertical box that is 5 mm wide, 150 mm long, and 100 mm tall. Repeat for 2 more walls as shown in the image, rotating it 90 degrees for the back wall, and make sure to align them with your floor as shown in the image.
The Roof
Next, you should add a 150 mm x 150 mm x 75 mm roof and align it with the top of your model, right above your walls. Then, create a smaller roof using the hole selection that is 135 x 135 x 60 mm. Align it with the middle of your other roof. Lastly, combine your roofs to cut the hole out of the top one. Make sure to compare it to the image to make it precise enough.
The Second Floor and Finishing Touches
Copy and paste your floor and raise it about 50 mm. This will be the foundation for your second floor. Now, here's the part where you get to customize as much or as little as you want. Add some pre-made characters from Tinkercad. You can also add some furniture from the OMSI hangout space group. You can also create your own characters and furniture. Make sure that these figures are not attached to the house so you can move them around and play with them once printed. Congratulations, you just finished your dollhouse!
