The End is definitely less dangerous than the Nether, but that doesn't mean you can teleport into the world without the important necessities {unless you have a death wish}. With the Ender Dragon and an infinite number of Endermen, this world also contains another boss you have to defeat to consider the game finished. This instructable will help you survive in the End with a few tips.

The portal to the End is found in a Stronghold filled with hostile mobs. Throw Eyes of Ender until they lead you to a Stronghold. Once you find the Portal, place 12 Eyes of Ender in their respective places. You will see that the Portal is activated and you can enter the End. You can't teleport back into the Overworld without defeating the Ender Dragon.

Surviving with the Ender Dragon alive can be a hard thing to carry out, especially because you can't go back into the Overworld without defeating it first. Defeating the Ender Dragon may seem very hard, but with the right things, it's no problem at all. For example:

• Potions of slow falling
• Full set of enchanted diamond armor and sword
• Bow and arrows {lots}

To avoid looking at Endermen, put a pumpkin over your head. Destroy the End Crystals at the top of the Obsidian pillars, because the Ender Dragon uses that for healing. Use any kind of block to elevate yourself upwards. Aim for its head or tail, as these are the sensitive parts of the boss.

If you plan on building shelters in the End, this tip is for you. Don't build your house with blocks that can be picked up by Endermen, like dirt. Use endstone or obsidian or stone instead.
