Toffee Candy

-Candy made with concentrated milk.

-Few simple and easy steps.

Cooking time: 45 min

Ingredients:

1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk

5 Tablespoons of oil (Any oil of your choice)

Kitchen accessories:

1 stove

1saucepan

1 wooden spatula

1 large bowl

1 can opener

1 Knife

1 Kitchen rag (Saucepan will be hot when on fire)

Open the Condensed Milk Can

-Open the can of condensed milk with a can opener.

Turn on the Stove and Place the Saucepan on the Stove

-Turn on the stove to approximately 300 degrees
(Equivalent to medium on some stoves)

-Place the saucepan on the stove.

Measure Oil and Pour Into Saucepan

-Pour 5 tablespoons of any type of oil you desire into the pan

-Let it boil.

Poor Milk Into Saucepan and Stir Until It Is Cooked

-Pour the condensed milk into the boiling oil

-Start stirring with a wooden spatula until it is cooked. (Hold the saucepan with a kitchen rag because it might be hot).

NB: You will keep stirring until it is cooked.

You will know you are getting a positive result when the milk starts getting hard and turning to a brownish color.

After 30 minutes the milk will totally turn brown and you will have a sort of hard candy called Toffee.

Empty the Toffee Into a Bowl

-Empty the saucepan containing the Toffee into a large bowl that can contain all.

-Let it cool down for 10 min

Cut the Toffee Into Pieces

-Use a clean knife to cut the whole Toffee into small pieces.

-The form and the size of the pieces are totally up to you.

Eat
