Towel Elephant

This is an Instructable on how to make a towel elephant from only 3 items.

Gather supplies (two towels; one regular, the other a hand towel and also a rubber band).

Lay the larger towel out flat on a clean surface.

Grab one end of the towel and fold it ⅔ of the length of the towel.

Then grab the other side of the towel and fold it til it reaches the opposite end of the towel.

The towel should look like this.

Roll the shorter sides towards each other until they meet in the middle to create two "scroll"-like folds.

Flip the towel over so the flat, seamless side is facing you.

Fold the towel down with the seam up. (it will look like four legs)

Then put a rubber band at the bottom of the folded legs to keep it in place.

Take the second towel and lay it out flat.

Put your finger in the middle of the towel on the edge, and then take the left side and start to roll it like an ice cream cone towards the center.

Once you have folded the left side of the hand towel, repeat the same steps with the right side of the towel so it looks look a cone.

This is what the towel should look like now.

Flip the towel over so the flat, seamless side is facing you.

Roll the top of the towel down slightly so that it now looks like two ears and a trunk.

Then fold the tip of the trunk once or twice and then bend it upward.

Carefully grab both now folded towels.

Place the head on the legs so it looks like a natural elephant! The trunk should be tilted upward slightly.

Viola! You are done making your towel elephant!
