Traffic Light Ice Lollies

These traffic light ice lollies are great fun to make and fun for kids to get involved in the kitchen!

Supplies

Red,orange and green jelly, approx. 150g chocolate depending on the size of your molds,
Nonstick paper, sunflower oil, ice block molds.

Make red jelly according to the instructions on the packet

Lightly oil the inside of the ice block molds

Fill around a third of your ice block molds with the red and freeze.

Make your Orange jelly according to the instructions on the packet.
Pour on top of your red jelly another third of the way up.
Put in the freezer

Take out the ice blocks five minutes before making your green jelly.
Now make your green jelly according to the instructions on the packet.
Pour into your molds the rest of the way up leaving a small space so that it doesn't overflow to much in the freezer.
Put the sticks into the molds and freeze.

Melt your chocolate

Take your ice blocks out of the freezer and run under hot water to remove from molds if needed.
Put your chocolate on a flat plate and cover your ice blocks sides in it leaving a space uncovered like a traffic light.
Put some non stick paper on a board and put the ice blocks on top of it with the uncovered side of the ice block down.
Put back in freezer.

It should not take too long for the chocolate to set so now you can enjoy your ice blocks!
