This project has been designed in collaboration with BuildBee, the all-in-one 3D printing solution to design, monitor and print from the cloud.

Supplies
To make your own trophies you'll need:
- 3D printer: Any 3D printer works. The standard size of the trophy cup is 130mm.
- Filament: I recommend using PLA, but other materials can be used.
- Glue: It's required to join the trophy cup and the base. I recommend using double-sided tape.
Choose Your Trophy Cup Designs
The Trophy Cup Collection features four new designs:
- Original Trophy: the original design, with a simple design.
- Lowpoly Trophy: Faceted trophy design made with Andrew Sink's Low Poly Generator.
- Twisted Trophy: Four different versions available.
- Voronoi Trophy: Voronoi version of the Original Trophy.
Customization
The base can be easily customized with text or a logo. I use BuildBee to customize it, but you can also make your versions using Fusion 360 or TinkerCAD.
Make sure the embossed/debossed text is rotated 10ยบ to match the wall inclination.
An extrusion thickness of 0.6-0.8mm is recommended.
3D Print It!
You can use any FDM 3D printer you want. You just need some PLA filament. Some 3D printing tips:
- Use a 0.4mm nozzle
- Shell: 3 perimeters (1.2mm)
- 0.2mm layer height
- Infill: a 5-10% infill density is recommended
Using some double-sided tape is the easiest way to join the trophy cup and base. Also, you'll be able to split them if it breaks or if you want to paint it or change the design.
