I love the simplicity and impact of Ukiyo-e.I want to solve the problem I have when I paint: my brushes have nowhere to place and often stain my paintings.I think a very artistic brush holder will make my painting process more enjoyable。

Problem That Needs to Be Dealt With

When I am painting, the brushes often needs to be dipped in the paint and put aside for later use.At this point, I either hold it all in my hand or put it on the table, which often smudges my painting or easel. The ordinary pen holder is very boring, without any artistic atmosphere and interest.I needed to create a personal brush plug!

The Theme

I chose Ukiyo-e as the theme. The mountains stand tall among clouds, and the changing clouds form a circular style. The brush can be hold between the clouds.Trees, shrubs and grass can be used to anchor the lower end of the brush.I first drew a sketch and then drew the outline in Fusion360 software.

I used Fusion360 software to draw mountains, clouds, grass, trees and so on.It is rendered in Fusion360 software, and then exported STL file. After 3D printing, it can be assembled, colored, and then used.

I'll print it out when I have time, so my brushes don't bother me anymore.
