Unopenable Wooden Money Box
Here is what I used to create this:
Supplies
Cut Out the 5x5
Use a pencil and draw out the 5x5 square in the wooden slabs. Next the miter saw and the band saw to cut the 5x5 wooden slabs.
Cut the Angles on the Squares
Use the table saw to cut a 45 degree angle on every side of the wood.
Tape and Glue and Fold
Place the tape sticky side up and place the wood in a cube net. Place them tight together for the best result. Place the wood glue on all sides where the angles were cut. Now use the tape as a brace as you fold it into a cube. make sure you pack it tight and let It dry before going to the next step.
The Shape Up Pt 1
When dry, get a ruler and a pencil, then find the middle of the top where you want the hole to be and shade it in.
Now drill a couple of holes until the hole is visible and use the files to smoothen the hole.
The Shape Up Pt 2
Now it is time to fill in the edges that aren't covered. To make this concoction you will need to mix wood glue and the wood shavings to a liquid consistency and use it to sover the free spots. Make sure to clean it up to the best of your ability without removing the glue from the crevices.
The Shape Up Part Three
Use the orbital sander to smooth the sides and make sure no glue is left top anywhere.
End
Congratulations you have finished the process. Be aware that once you put money in you will not be able to take it out. This will surely help you save money. Enjoy
