Use an existing shape bake pan to create additional molds to be used for ice, jello, or chocolates.

For this project, I'm making a dinosaur mold but it will work for any fun shaped pan you want to replicate.

You will need:

Vacuum Forming Machine

Food Safe PetG sheets

heat resistant form to mold

Heat It Up!

The key to a good mold is making sure the machine is properly warmed up. Give yourself at least 20 minutes before prepping your materials.

Ready to Mold

Once the machine is hot, you are ready to set up your mold. I use the basic settings on the machine and just watch for the material to droop then go clear.

Position your pan to be molded, mine is dinosaurs!

Follow the usual vacuum forming process:

1. suction

2. cooling

3. pop out mold.

You now have a replica of your pan that can be used for more items than a traditional baking pan. I've tried chocolate molds, ice cubes, and jello but the possibilities are endless.
