Vanilla Cupcakes With Buttercream Frosting
This is a easy way to make fluffy moist cupcakes. Its not a long and complicated process to get these delicious cupcakes and when your done you can enjoy
Supplies
ingredients for cupcakes
- 2/3 cup butter softened
- 1-3/4 cups of sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2-1/2 cups of all- purpose flour
- 2-1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1-3/4 cups of 2% milk
Set Up the Pans and Oven
preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and then place in 24 cupcake wrappers in a cupcake pans
Mix Wet Ingredient + Sugar
in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar ( smash until it looks like the picture above) then add the eggs one at a time but make sure to crack it in a separate bowl so no shells get in the batter. while you add the eggs beat after each one goes in the batter. Beat in vanilla.
Dry Ingredients
mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt
Mix Both Bowls of Ingredients and Add Milk
Gradually add the flower in and alternate between flour and milk.
Filling the Pan
Fill the prepared cupcake wrappers 3/4 the way and it should fill about 24 cup but if it fill less make sure to fill the unfilled spots with a little water so the bottom doesn't burn.
When to Take It Out
It should take between 20 and 30 minutes to cook or wait until a toothpick comes out clean when you poke into the cupcake. Let cool 5 minutes in the pan and then take it out of the pan and put it on a cooling wrack to cool fully.
Making the Frosting
Ingredients
- 4 cups of confectioners sugar or one 16 oz box
- 1 cup unsalted butter (soften
- 4 tablespoons of milk
- 1 -1/2 tablespoons of vanilla extract

Butter
In a large bowl, with an electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter until pale and creamy, about 2 minutes

Add the Rest
add in the sugar beat at medium speed then when butter and sugar a mixed or its to stiff add in the vanilla and milk( if you need to add more milk add more milk)
Fosting
When all ingredients are combined, increase the speed to medium and beat for 1 to 2 more minutes, until creamy. If desired, add more milk until frosting is spreading consistency. if you want to make it just one color mix it in i made mine blue or if you want to make it more than one color separate it.
after the cupcakes are fully cooled put the buttercream into a pastry bag with the tip of your choice I used 32. then make a swirl on the cupcakes until you get to the middle. Repeat with all cupcakes.
