Vegan Overnight Oats


Basic outline for making overnight oats, vegan style. Overnight oats can be put together ahead of time, just don't add liquids or fruit until the night before you want your oats.
Ingredients

Rolled oats
Milk alternative- soy, almond, coconut, rice, etc.
Fruit
Nuts
Mason jar
Optional add-ins- chia, hemp, flax etc.
Optional sweeteners- honey, maple syrup, date/fig paste, Nutella, etc.
Oats

Fill the jar about 1/4-1/2 full with oats. Make sure you have rolled oats and not steel cut oats.
Sweetener & Add-ins


Put in whatever sweetener and add-ins you want.
Fruit


Layer your fruit in the jar.
Milk


Fill jar with milk alternative.
Overnight



Mix well or cover shake until everything is mixed up. Let sit in the fridge 8-12 hours.
