The equipment you will need:

  • watercolour sketch book
  • 2b pencil
  • rubber
  • Black ballpoint pen
  • watercolours
  • small paint brush
  • cup of water

1. Lightly sketch out the shape of a deer, you can use a picture as reference which helps a lot

The easiest way would be to draw a cross to map out where the eyes, nose and mouth will be located. Draw the eyes and detail of the nose which is a heart shape, it doesn’t need to look perfect at first, just an outline

Horns and Ears

2. Draw the horns on top of the corner on each side of the head making sure they look curved but pointed at the top you can add as many horns as you want but try and make sure each side is identical ish.

3. Add in the two ears which are connecting the horns to the head, make sure they aren’t too big and the tips are slightly pointed and coloured black.

Next add shading to the deer around it's eyes and body to give the effect of its fur

Detail and Paint

4.Alter the deer until everythings looks good then go over the lines making it darker with the pencil.

5. Add details like flowers on the horns or earrings, make sure to add the blindfold

Next is the most imprtant part...the watercolours

6. Pour a drop of water onto a dish and mix in the water colour paint ,of any colour, - It should be a watery colour mix. This needs to be done for each colour used.

Then tap the brush over the painting to make the drip splatter effects - making sure the brush is coated in enough water and pigment.

7. Once the water colour has dried, go over the sketch with a black pen so everything stands out more - the detail, features..basically everything.

Then you're doneee !!!
