Apple pie is delicious no matter what form it takes, but there's something extra fun about having a whole apple pie.

You'll Need. . .
Software

For the Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Large pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
For the Filling:
  • 2 small/medium apples
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Hardware
  • Mixing bowl
  • Plastic wrap
  • Cookie sheet
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Rolling pin

How To
  1. Combine flour, sugar, and salt
  2. Mix in butter until crumbly
  3. Add water and vinegar and mix well
  4. Wrap in plastic and chill for at least 1 hour
  5. Peel and core apples and slice thinly
  6. Combine cinnamon, sugar, and brown sugar and coat the apple slices in the mixture
  7. Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  8. Divide the dough into two halves and roll out each half into a rough circle
  9. Reassemble the slices of each apple in the center of the dough
  10. Wrap the dough up around the apple and add a half-tablespoon of butter to the top before closing the dough
  11. Place on the cookie sheet (they will leak some while baking) and bake for 30 - 40 minutes or until the dough is browned
  12. Allow to cool slightly and enjoy! For extra deliciousness, serve with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
