Wide Crocheted Bracelet
A simpler exercise in crocheting with wire.
I actually made this one a long time ago, and it has held up very well, in my opinion. Since it is worked with wire, it will probably kill your hands. Every one I have has.

Needed Materials and Other Notes
Materials:
-Florists wire in desired color
-a size J (6.00 mm) crochet hook
-a small or medium sized shank button
Notes:
-The wire is thick and you have to pull big loops to make it work properly. It is the wire crocheting equivalent to crocheting loosely.

Begin the Clasp and Make the Slip Knot
Slide your button on to your wire and slide it down out of the way.
This pretty self explained. You make your slip knot. I would advise making it LOOSELY around your hook

Making the Base of the Bracelet
chain 18, turn
Making the Bracelet and Continuing the Clasp
skip the first two stitches. Double crochet in each stitch across. On the last double crochet, slide your button against your hook before continuing.
Finishing Off
Finish off your work and weave your ends through the bracelet so it is not as noticeable.
The other end of your clasp will be the first double crochet. Slip the bead through the main loop and pinch to secure it to your wrist.
