Wireless Remote Control Light Switch
Recently I am very interested in wireless remote control. Here is the process of making a wireless remote control by myself.
It was very troublesome to have to run to turn off the lights every night before slowly returning to bed, so I thought it was because the light switch in the room was a bit far from the bedside, so I came up with the idea of installing a wireless remote control to turn on the lights in the room.
The reason why I want to DIY is because (through analysis of the circuit plan and material selection) I feel that similar products on the market have too short a lifespan or the price is too high. By DIYing, you can get a satisfactory work at a low cost.
Supplies
My remote control switch is actually a bunch of ready-made parts spliced together. It only uses the most basic circuit knowledge. There is nothing profound and principled. The parts used are: SC2272-T4 decoding chip (4 yuan a piece), 220V to 5V switching power supply (8 yuan each), 315M wireless module (2.9 yuan each), relay (1.9 yuan each), as well as a resistor, an NPN transistor, and a diode.

The wireless receiver I made controls the on and off of the switch according to the received control command, using the 2272-T4 decoding chip. Based on the typical application circuit of 2272, I used DXP2004 to draw the circuit diagram, and the generated PCB file:

I asked the PCB manufacturer Nantian to make a board like the one below according to the PCB file. A total of 56 small boards, double-sided, were produced for 80 yuan.

The next step is to do some welding, and the result is as shown below. It feels very heavy in the hand, and I feel satisfied:
At this point, many friends who like DIY will encounter the same problem - the shell. Fortunately, the electronic component supplier I chose this time provides all materials. Not only does it provide high-quality and cheap products, but the service is also very good. Nantian not only provides electronic components, but also provides PCB boards and casings, which is something that most electronic component suppliers cannot do.
Regarding the circuit knowledge used in this DIY:
1. The use of resistor-capacitor step-down can also provide the required power supply, and the cost is greatly reduced. The reason why the expensive switching power supply is used is because the resistance-capacitor step-down has poor reliability and short life, which is not in line with one of my original intentions of DIY.
2. The diode on the board is used for freewheeling to prevent the high voltage generated by the relay coil at the moment of power outage from breakdown and causing damage to the nearby transistor;
3. One remote control can control 4 receivers, which means it can control 4 lights. It is most suitable to install it on the stair light. It can control the stair lights on 4 floors. You can lie on the bed and slowly turn off the lights.
