Wooden Chopping Board

Wooden chopping board.

Supplies

  • Spruce Wood - 7cm wide and 90cm long.
  • Jigsaw
  • Linseed Oil
  • Wood Glue
  • Wood Cutting Table
  • Sandpaper
  • Paint Brush
  • (optional) Drill

This is what the end product should look like.

Gather Supplies

Collect everything needed to make the chopping board.

You will need:

Spruce Wood

Jigsaw

Mineral Oil

Wood Glue

Wood Cutting Table

Sandpaper

Paintbrush

(optional) Drill

Cut the Wood

First, you need to cut the pieces of spruce wood with the jigsaw. You will need 3 pieces, each 4cm wide and 30cm long.

Gluing the Wood Together

Next, glue the pieces together using the wood glue.

Optional: Drilling a Hole

(This is optional) If you like you can drill a hole wherever you want on the board.

Sanding the Board

After that, use sandpaper on the whole thing, until it's smooth.

Oil

Finally, you will need to brush linseed oil all over the board, using the paintbrush and wait for it to dry.
