For the walkie talkies you'll need two pieces of these dimensions:

- Thickness: 23mm

- Width: 54mm

- Length: 11cm

After you've cut the Walkie Talkie blanks it's time for sanding.

Step 2: Shaping of the Walkie Talkies

Round off the edges on the router.

After that you can drill the speakerholes. I made a mold because I was making more than one set. I made 16 holes with a 3mm bit.

Next drill a 6mm hole for the 6mm dowel as an antenna. The antenna is 6mm long. Glue it into the hole with woodglue.

For the knobs I used 15mm dowels and cut of a little knob. You'll need 3 knobs for one walkie talkie. Glue them on with woodglue.

Step 3: Finishing

To finish the Walkie Talkies apply 3 coats of Mineral Oil and you're ready!

Thanks!
