Wooden Wolf Paw Pendant, Keychain or Wall Decoration

Hello everyone,
In this project I want to show you how to make a Wooden Wolf Paw Pendant, Keychain or Wall Decoration. I made a video and step by step instruction how to make it.

So, let's get started :)

Materials:
- Piece of wood
- Piece of twine or chain

Tools:
- Sandpaper
- Chisel or cnc router
- Belt sander

How to make: Wooden Wolf Paw Pendant, Keychain or Wall Decor

Video will give you a good overview on how to create a Wolf Paw. But the following steps will still contain some extra useful information.

Prepare the Wood

To make my wolf paws I used wanlut wood. I cut few pieces and leveled the surface to 5mm on cnc machine and belt sander. Wood planer can do it faster and better but my is in bad condition.

Make the Wolf Paw

Time to cut wolf paw. Pattern file (PDF and DXF) to download below. I made aslo STL file, so you can print it.

You can use chisel, drill or cnc machine. I used cnc machine to make 1 big paw to decoration wall in my home and 4 small to make pendants or keychain.

To improve the edges use sand papper or belt sander. Additionally, I smoothed the outer edges.

Paint, Oil, Resin.

To finish my paws I used different methods.


Resin:
I filled the holes with epoxy resin and painted with clear coat

Oil:
I just put on a tung oil.
