Yu Heng's Mini Laptop Figurine

Create a mini laptop figurine with just carboard and coloured paper!

Supplies

  • Cardboard
  • Coloured Paper
  • Cardboard Cutter
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Ruler
  • Double Sided Tape

Take Measurements

Measure a small rectangular cardboard piece of around 8cm X 5cm. Fold cardboard into half and use the cardboard cutter to cut the half line partially.

Computer Screen Design

Mark the dimensions of the screen on a piece of coloured paper (approximately 4cm X 2cm) and cut out the paper.

Stick on Screen

Use double sided tape to tape the piece of cut paper to the screen. Cut out a piece of another coloured paper to act as the screen.

Keyboard Base

Mark out dimensions of the keyboard and cut the piece out. Use double sided tape to stick the piece of paper and cover the cupboard keyboard.

Add Keyboard Buttons

Cut all buttons using small cardboard pieces and paste them in the computer.
