Zoidberg Bust/ Mask

this is an instructable on how to make a bust or a mask of Dr. John a. Zoidberg from futurama. enjoy!

a lump of clay of your choosing

a smooth, sharp pointed instrument

hands

newspaper to work on

for mask

life cast of your head

lot more clay

paint

plastic eyes to see through

facilities to cast the clay shape into a mask

start off by taking 3/4 of your clay and smack it down on a table (like you would do a glass) to form a base.

take it off the table and start shaping his head, note his head is narrow and long (compared to a human.

make the basic shape of his neck and shoulders.

once you're satisfied move to the next step.

use the back of a pencil to poke 2 holes for his eyes. use some of the extra clay and mold a part for his tentacles it should look like a Y with 4 upwards parts. turn the Y upside down and attatch the single thin part on the bridge of his nose. smooth everything out and lift up his tentacles.

note. he has a prominent under lip.

add some texture on his tentacles ( like the skin on your knuckles)

add his eyes. note the solid lifeless pupils ( just poke with the tip of a pencil )

add his shirt, coat, stethoscope an head reflector thingy

use as a halloween decoration

use to show off your skills and tv show knowledge

use a lot more clay and make it as a mask
