A cheap, and simple solution for people whose insurance doesn't pay for activity specific prosthetic's.

First mark the line, pretty close to in the pictures. You can make it bigger, but it might get in the way of your shooting hand (right hand in my case).

Cut on the Line

Now cut on the line, don't worry if it's too big now.

Make Line for Hole for Hook

Now the placement for this line will depend on if its left, or right handed. This is right handed, so the line would go on the other side of the lip for left.

Cut the Hole

Getting the hole the correct size may take a little time. Start small, you want it as tight as possible. I used a new razor blade for my cuts.

Tape It On

I just used 3m duct tape to attach it. It was surprising strong and sturdy.

Final Trim

Now just go to a basketball court and take a few practice shots. If the lip is too big cut it back in really small amounts. It still needs to hold the ball, but not interfere with your shooting hand. Good luck!
