chocolate oatmeal candy is a great candy made from oatmeal and many other things
  you'll love them.

fair warning you need to be careful with boiling them.
" too long= to hard", "too short = too gooey"
ill elaborate more in the section about boiling the ingredients

Gather Your Ingrediants

bgImage_17204783-1-78.jpg
for this recipe you need to make sure that you have
. 2 cups of sugar
.
3 cups of Quaker quick 1 minute oats
. 1 bakers coconut
. 1/2 cup of milk
. 1/2 cup of Hershey's cocoa
. 1\3 cup of butter
. 1 teaspoon of vanilla

make sure to have a cookie tray ready to go

i do apologize but the sugar is missing from the pictures.

Mix Ingrediants Together

now this is the part where you mix your ingredients together, but here's the catch you want to mix the coconut and oats together separately.
you want to mix the vanilla, milk, butter, suger and cocoa into a cooking dish as shown in the image below.
hold the coconut and oats aside for later

Start Cooking!

in this step you want to put your mix on the stove and start heating it up.

"IMPORTANT NOTICE"
 - this is where time comes into play!!
you want to make sure to only cook them for five minutes!
from the moment you turn the stove on you have 5 minutes. this equals out to be about 2 minutes of boiling the mix

Finish Cooking

bgImage_17204783-1-93.jpg
once the five minutes are up you want to shut of the stove and quickly pour in the coconut and oats.
once the oats mixture is in start stiring until everything looks good and covered in chocolate.

Set Up

now once the oats are thoroughly mixed with the other mixture quickly take the pan to a cooking tray and scoop the chocolate candy onto it. depending on if you cooked it to long your going to want to do this quickly. the oatmeal candy will harden over the course of about 15min.

Enjoy Your Candy! :)

the candy should be ready to eat.
so sit down and let yourself enjoy your creation
