Dragon Plushy From T-shirt
for valentine's day, I wanted to make something unique for my boyfriend. (Ugh, candy hearts)
We both like George RR Martin's novels. So I wanted to do something dragon inspired.
I searched for a dragon toy, but to no avail.
So I decided to make my own stuffed animal.
It didn't come out quite as I planned, but its a dragon none the less and its the thought that counts, isn't it?

Sketching and Making the Stencil
pretty straight forward. I used google images to get some inspiration
Cutting the Fabric
lay the paper stencils on your shirt and draw them out.
Remember to flip the stencils (not like I did)
Also note that you will need 4 legs and 4 wings
Leave enough space for the stitching

Sewing
stitch the pieces together
Leave open a space in each of the pieces so you can turn them inside out again.

Turning Inside Out
use a chopstick/pencil to help you turn the pieces
STUFFING
I cut up the rest of the T-shirt in to small 2cmx2cm squares and used those to stuff the pieces
hand-sew the limbs to the body

Send With Love!
As you can see it was a terrific hit. My boyfriend loved it!
