Easy Tinder

this easy tinder will catch sparks, is easy to light, and will burn for a long time.

go to walmart and by some fire sticks, they're about2$ for a bag of twelve

take a knife and shave the stick.
store the shavings in a tin.
when the stick gets to short to shave. set on ground and pound witha rock til its flat and then shred it into little pieces.

use flint sparks or a lighter to light a small pile.
a square inch pile will burn for about 2 min.

you can mix with parafin wax or melt birthday candles over it to make a longer-lasting firestarter
