How to Make Vanilla Sugar

this is a great for anyone looking for something new to add to tea, cookies, or any baking
the instructions are kept veg so you are open to interpretation

you will need:
an air tight container
3 vanilla beans
a bag of sugar

add the beans and sugar into the air tight container, and leave for about 5 days
the sugar should now have a vanilla taste

this is a recipe strait from the food scientist's mouth, Alton Brown. i use this sugar all the time. it has almost replaced vanilla extract in my home. your flavoring sugar, food science dose not get simpler than that.
